It may seem a little early to start discussing Christmas events but we have been thinking of turkey and christmas trees for some time here at the Appleby Inn! With such demand for our festive offerings we tend to get our dates for christmas entertainment and menus for all days into print before we have even had chance to enjoy any summer sun!
Our Christmas Day menu sold out in record time this year with bookings flooding in before we had chance to print the menu and our Boxing Day set menu is now on the receiving end of similar attention. Such is the quality of our menu and the renowned festive atmosphere of these days we are packed to the rafters every year, also accompanied with our famous visit from Santa on Christmas Day, and my traditional colourful Christmas suits!
Before we get to Christmas Day and Boxing Day we offer a midweek pre-christmas menu, perfect for both a small gathering or a larger party. We serve the pre-xmas menu from November right throughout the busy month of December leading up to Christmas Day. Again we advise booking early as we book up very fast for this all of our Christmas events.
At the weekend our festive offerings include live entertainment evenings featuring top quality performers and hosted by the fantastic Marc Bolton who is worth the ticket money alone with his mix of laughter and stunning vocals, all accompanied with a delicious four course christmas meal. For a less formal evening we offer high energy party nights with music coming from our resident DJ after a four course christmas menu. We have been hosting both styles of christmas parties for over ten years now and the feedback has been overwhelming! From company nights our or gatherings with friends and family it is wonderful to host guests enjoying the christmas events period at the Appleby Inn.
